Privacy policy
What this website collects, why, who else touches it, and how to get it deleted. Written in plain English on purpose.
The short version.
- We don't set cookies on this site, and our analytics don't identify you.
- We only collect personal information you give us when you book a call.
- We use it to answer you and send what you asked for. That's it.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
- A few service providers help run the site. They're all named below.
- Want your information deleted? Ask us and we'll do it.
Who we are.
This website, fieldproof.com, is run by FieldProof LLC, which connects, builds, and manages workflow tools for general contractors and owners. When this policy says "FieldProof," "we," or "us," it means that company.
Privacy questions: tcampbell@fieldproof.io.
What you give us.
This site has no contact forms or signups right now. The only place you give us personal information is when you book a call, covered next. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Booking a call.
We use Calendly to schedule calls. The scheduler loads from Calendly only on our Book a call page. When you book, Calendly collects your name and email, plus your answers to the questions on our booking form.
Calendly handles that information under its own privacy policy, and it may use its own cookies inside the scheduler. You can read Calendly's privacy notice.
How we count visits.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are useful. Plausible doesn't use cookies and doesn't build a profile of you. We see totals: how many people viewed a page, which site sent them, their country, and their type of device and browser.
We also count a few actions, like clicks on a Book a call button. Those counts never include your name or email address. You can read Plausible's data policy.
We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how fast our pages load on real devices so we can keep the site quick. It records performance numbers and basic device information, not who you are. You can read Vercel's privacy policy.
Who helps us run the site.
A few companies process information on our behalf so the site works. They only get what they need to do their job.
| Provider | What they do | What they handle |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website | The technical details every web request includes, like IP address, browser, and the page requested |
| Plausible | Cookieless analytics | Page views and the actions listed above, with no personal details |
| Calendly | Call scheduling | Your booking details, under its own policy |
What we keep in your browser.
This site doesn't set cookies. It may save your first landing page, the referring site, and any campaign tags in your browser's session storage. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab, and nothing in it is sent to us.
Our fonts and images are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your details to a font or image service.
How we use it.
We use what you send us to:
- Prepare for and follow up on your call.
- Reply to your emails.
- See which pages and links are useful, so we can improve the site.
We don't:
- Sell or rent your information. Ever.
- Share it with anyone for their advertising.
- Add you to any email list you didn't sign up for.
- Use your booking details to train AI models.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, like a valid subpoena.
How long we keep it.
We keep your booking details for 24 months after we last talk with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we will.
Your choices.
You can ask us to show you what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. Email tcampbell@fieldproof.io and we'll handle it within a reasonable time. You don't need a reason.
If you'd rather not be counted in our analytics at all, many browser tracker blockers stop Plausible from loading, and the site works fine without it.
Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR.
Security, children, and changes.
The whole site runs over HTTPS. No website is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small, which helps.
This site is for business professionals. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Your information is processed in the United States.
If we change what the site collects or who helps us run it, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Big changes get a line on the page saying what changed.
